What is Stripe?
Stripe is a platform that enables merchants to securely accept online payments.
How to integrate Stripe?
To integrate Sharpei with your existing Stripe account, you must add both the public and private keys to your Sharpei account.
Why? stripe decided it, we will make sure this information is stored securely at all times!🔐
On Stripe:
Go to the "Developers" section (upper right part of your screen)
Go to the "API Keys" section
In this section you'll be able to find your public (publishable) and private keys
Copy those keys
On Sharpei:
Go to Settings ⚙️
Go to "Payments"
Find the Stripe section and click on "Configure"
Paste the API Keys you previously copied on Stripe
Click on "Activate"
Done!! Now your checkout is integrated with Stripe, please make sure you make a couple of tests with your test account to check its all okay.
What payment methods does Stripe accept?
Stripe accepts a variety of payment methods, allowing merchants to offer flexible payment options to their customers. Some of the payment methods that Stripe supports include:
Credit and debit cards.
Digital payment methods: Apple Pay, Google Pay.
Bank transfers.
ACH Debit (only available in the United States).
SEPA Direct Debit (only available in Europe).
